• Distinctive architecture: Westerpunt is an architectural landmark, designed as a geometric, gently rising staircase. You gradually walk upwards, look out over the beach, and then descend again towards the dyke or the lower-lying beach.
• Sea and dunes connected: Thanks to its robust concrete form, the structure fits beautifully with the beach and dunes, while also being able to withstand the harsh coastal climate. It forms a symbolic connection between sea and dunes, nature and coast, and between walkers, residents and visitors.
• Different every moment: The view changes constantly with the light, clouds, wind and the tide. Especially at sunset, Westerpunt is an atmospheric place for photos and a short pause.

• Tip at high tide: Visit Westerpunt at high tide. The entrance on the beach side can then temporarily be flooded by seawater, which creates a special experience.
